Welcome to our Advanced Wildlife Management page.

In 2018, Chris O'Banion was awarded with the ‘Educator of the Year’ by National Wildlife Control Operators Association. This award is given to individuals who go out of their way to share their time and knowledge for the betterment of the wildlife control industry.

Chris was born into a farming family, and spent the better part of his childhood in the woods and streams around his family’s home. In high school, he became a member of several state championship wildlife and environmental competition teams.

While studying wildlife management at The Ohio State University he took a part time job with a local wildlife control company. That part time job quickly sparked a passion for a career that he didn't realize was possible.

In 2009 he opened Advanced Wildlife Management. With the support of his wife, family, and employees his business has grown every year and he continues to add new services and expand his service area. Chris lives by the moto “If you love your job, you will never have to work a day in your life”. As a customer, you will see this come through his team.

In 2017, Chris was again invited to speak at the NWCOA (National Wildlife Control Operators Association) annual training seminar. The subject of his seminar was Modern Conveniences for the NWCO, it outlined how other business owners in the industry can take advantage of modern technologies to improve their operations. It was very well received by over 1000 attendees and Chris has been invited back to speak for the 4th consecutive year.
